So What is This Google + Then?
I got an early invite into Google+. Am I I fortunate or not? So Graham is now on Google+
For those people on the web who have been living under a rock and haven’t been frustrated all week as you desperately attempt to convert a Google+ invitation into a back door entry, G+ is Google’s new Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn killer (Delete as acceptable)
So after a whole week of using it, rather at random I should say because I actually do have a job working in my business which takes up a little bit of time, I thought I would give you some thoughts.
1. Meh!
2. “Hangouts” are cool but as nobody I customarily have interaction with on Skype video calls managed to get in initially then I couldn’t use them so despite them being cool, group video talks with clever graphics, until the critical size gets into G+ that’ll be a second meh!
3. Sparks. I actually prefer the techno pop synth merchants from the 70s now. Dumbed down RSS feeds for the beginner
4. Circles. A really excellent way of organising your contacts and sharing things just with people who may be interested in a specific subject. Ie I have got a Spain circle for people in Spain who might have an interest in stuff about Spain. I’ve a Spanish circle to share stuff in Spanish with the people I know in Spain who either are Spanish or understand Spanish. Think Twitter Lists and you kind of get the idea but with the power to share at one time rather than tons of tweets
5. Incoming! Watch out here comes the spam. Folk can add you to circles. Let’s call this circle “Those who I Am going to spam with drivel” and you get added to their circle and the posts shared there by the, as we shall now call him, “spammer”, go into your inward-bound tab. Avoid incoming like the plague
6. G+ If you talk about G+ within G+ then your post will be spread like wildfire around G+. It is the exact opposite of Fight Club!
7. Got an iOS gizmo ie iPhone or iPad, well forget sharing anything without delay as it only likes Android at the moment. Expect that to switch very soon though. If it doesn’t it’ll fail spectacularly. You need to use the web browser version but manifestly photograph sharing and stuff becomes more tricky.
8. It’s far better than FB’s ground breaking statement this week that you can now use Skype to call one individual using video from inside FB. Well guess what I could already use Skype for constantly breaking up conference calls formerly so nothing new to see there.
9. +1. All of a sudden becomes critical if G+ catches on, and it will.
10. Where will you share this post. That’s when G+ becomes important. Will it make you stop pressing the like button or the tweet button. Until last week the +1 button meant nothing. Now it does. If it becomes a major ranking factor within Google expect a completely new industry of social S.E.O to spring up. Now that is a break.

Why Not To Assemble Your Family Home Theatre System
If there were a book on how NOT to install a personal home cinema system, I think that I could add a few chapters of my very own. Having decided not to contact my local Electrical Contractor in Swan Hill - it all started off pleasantly. Enviably large flat screen TV? Check. Speakers that would have the neighbors moaning until morning? Check. Enough wires to wrap around the block? Check.

How To Learn What Twitter Is All About
A few months ago, someone I work with turned me on to Twitter. By now you know that this is the biggest things as far as social media sites are considered. I resisted joining Twitter for a very long time. This is largely due to the inability to understand what the big deal was. I never quite understood Twitter but now my opinion is radically different.
